Put Away the Screens. Step Into History.

History becomes unforgettable when children can touch it, taste it, build it, and live it.

Our adventures are not ordinary history classes.

Children may gather eggs, churn butter, plant herbs, sew a button, wash clothes by hand, cook over a fire, work with wool, or create a useful item for their own adventure kit while learning about different periods of history.

Hands-on learning. Real skills. Lasting memories.

Meet Your Instructors!

Samara earned her Bachelor’s degree in History with the goal of becoming a history teacher. She has always believed that history is meant to be experienced, not just read about. Her passion is helping children step into the past through hands-on learning because those experiences create memories that last a lifetime.

She believes that understanding where we came from helps us better understand who we are. By connecting with the people, skills, and stories of the past, children can find inspiration, confidence, and wisdom for the future.

Parker

Meet Your Instructors!

Parker earned his degree in Physical Education and Health Secondary Education and taught for six years. He has a deep passion for helping children and families unplug from screens, step outside, and discover the confidence that comes from learning practical outdoor skills.

Inspired by the traditions of the mountain men and the old ways of living, Parker loves exploring the outdoors and sharing the knowledge he has gained through years of experience. He believes every child and family should know the basics of wilderness safety and self-reliance, giving them the confidence to enjoy God’s creation with greater skill and purpose.

More Than a History Lesson

Each adventure combines history, storytelling, practical skills, books, animals, food, traditional games, and useful projects.

Young adventurers will have opportunities to:

  • Learn how families lived and worked during different periods of history
  • Practice practical, old-fashioned skills
  • Visit and care for homestead animals
  • Prepare and taste simple historic foods
  • Make useful items connected to the time period
  • Read stories and books that bring history to life
  • Build confidence through meaningful work
  • Spend time outdoors and away from screens

Our goal is not simply to help children remember names and dates.

We want them to understand how people lived, what they valued, what challenges they faced, and how families worked together.
