Meet Your Instructors!
Samara earned her Bachelor’s degree in History with the goal of becoming a history teacher. She has always believed that history is meant to be experienced, not just read about. Her passion is helping children step into the past through hands-on learning because those experiences create memories that last a lifetime.
She believes that understanding where we came from helps us better understand who we are. By connecting with the people, skills, and stories of the past, children can find inspiration, confidence, and wisdom for the future.

Meet Your Instructors!
Parker earned his degree in Physical Education and Health Secondary Education and taught for six years. He has a deep passion for helping children and families unplug from screens, step outside, and discover the confidence that comes from learning practical outdoor skills.
Inspired by the traditions of the mountain men and the old ways of living, Parker loves exploring the outdoors and sharing the knowledge he has gained through years of experience. He believes every child and family should know the basics of wilderness safety and self-reliance, giving them the confidence to enjoy God’s creation with greater skill and purpose.
